DR . HUSSIEN AL-MASRY

Associate Professor, Department of Ship and Marine Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University, Egypt. He holds a PhD in Marine Hydrodynamics and Ship Design, and is a distinguished researcher in the field of ship hydrodynamics and marine engineering, with a special interest in the applications of artificial intelligence and computer simulation (CFD) techniques to improve energy efficiency and design environmentally friendly ships. He has long experience in teaching and academic supervision, has worked in several academic positions since 2012, and has been involved in pioneering research projects funded locally and internationally. His research interests include: hydrodynamic design, autonomous marine systems, three-dimensional modeling, and marine biomimetic techniques. His research has been published in prestigious scientific journals and conferences, including on reducing the wave resistance of ships, designing new shapes for the bow of the ship, in addition to studies in the use of artificial intelligence to improve the performance of marine engines and reduce emissions.

Dr : Fathi Nouh

Assistant Professor Faculty of Industry and Energy at East Port Said Technological University, he holds the position of Director of the Training and Professional Development Unit at the university, in addition to assuming responsibility for the Product Development Training Unit at the Faculty of Engineering at Sinai University. I have over 12 years of diverse experience in academia and manufacturing.

Prof. Mostafa Mohamed

Prof. Mostafa Mohamed Mostafa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ship and Marine Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. He has over 20 years of academic and professional experience in the fields of university education, research, and academic supervision. His research has focused on improving ship efficiency, optimal design, and recycling green ships. He received his doctorate from Port Said University in 2011 for his thesis on "Technical and Economic Improvement of Nile Container Ships", preceded by a master's degree from Suez Canal University on "Balance problems in hotel ships as a result of bad weather conditions in the Nile". He held many leadership positions, most notably: former head of department, coordinator of quality education and accreditation, and an active member in the development of curricula with a credit-hour system. He was also appointed to work partly at the Arab Academy and East Port Said University, and participated in ship inspections and certification as an engineering expert. He has contributed to more than 19 papers published in refereed scientific journals, ranging from fuel efficiency, hybrid energy systems, sustainable ship design, and structural safety. He has also presented research at international conferences in the Portugal, Italy, and Egypt. He supervised several master's and doctoral theses, and continued to lead research teams in developing the concepts of Nile navigation, green recycling, and improving the hydrodynamic performance of vessels.

NOURAN YASSER BADAWY

Marine Architect and Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Engineering – Port Said University, graduating with "Very Good with Honors" and ranked second in the class. I have completed design and research projects in the fields of ferry design and marine propeller failure analysis, both with excellent grades. I possess diverse academic and practical experience in the areas of ship operation and maintenance, power systems, and shipbuilding and repair, gained through my work as a teaching assistant at East Port Said Technological University and as a mechanical engineer at Elsewedy Electric. I have completed specialized training in ship design using MaxSurf, non-destructive testing (NDT), and AutoCAD. I have strong abilities in continuous learning, teamwork, and community engagement, and I seek to apply my engineering knowledge in dynamic work environments that foster ongoing development and enable me to contribute effectively to achieving the organization's goals.

NOURAN YASSER BADAWY

ELSAYED MAROOF

Mr. Maarouf is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at East Port Said Technological University, with a great passion for teaching and developing academic skills, and is currently pursuing his graduate studies. It combines the theoretical and practical aspects in its field, with a special interest in scientific research and applied training. He has diverse experience including CNC programming at National Steel Company, where he translated engineering designs into precise cutting paths and improved machine performance. Previously, he worked as a freelance graphic designer in the fields of digital marketing, content writing, and advertising between 2019 and 2023. He participated in international and local conferences and workshops concerned with technology and sustainable investment, and received many specialized courses in safety, quality, production, and crisis management. He has the ability to use modern artificial intelligence tools such as Grok3 in the field of research, and is fluent in both Arabic and English.

ELSAYED MAROOF

Dr. Arwa Hussain

Dr. Arwa Hussain Associate Professor of Marine Engineering and Ship Architecture – Faculty of Engineering – Port Said University Dr. Arwa Hussein is an Associate Professor specializing in Marine Engineering, Structure Design, and Marine Risk Management, working at Port Said University since 2010. She received her PhD in Ship Structural Reliability from the University of Lisbon in Portugal and has contributed prominently to the development of academic programs and quality assurance in engineering education. She has extensive experience in teaching and academic supervision of graduation projects, master's and doctoral theses, especially in topics such as construction analysis, energy efficiency in ships, marine electrical systems, and green ships. She has held leadership positions in quality development and academic accreditation projects, and contributed to building international research partnerships within the EU-funded MARSTRUCT project.

Dr. Arwa Hussain

Eng : Yousef Walid Yousef

A newly graduated marine engineer from the Faculty of Engineering at Port Said University, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Ship Engineering and Marine Engineering with a grade of "Very Good with Honors". With a strong academic background, he is looking for a career opportunity to gain field experience in a dynamic work environment that allows him to employ his multitasking and management skills. He worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Industry and Energy at East Port Said University, and also holds a part-time marine design engineer position at CEB Global Office. He participated in a field training at the Suez Canal Authority and the International Pipe Company, and implemented a distinguished graduation project on the design of a "luxury Nile cruise", in which he received an excellent grade. He chaired the Social Committee at the College of Engineering, was the supervisor of the "Orphan's Day" event, and was a member of the American Society of Ship Engineers (SNAME). Eng : Yousef Walid Yousef

Professor/ Ibrahim Abdel-Rahman Ibrahim El-Sayed

Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Rahman is a professor of mechanical power engineering, specializing in combustion systems, thermal energy technologies, and heat and mass transfer applications. He holds a PhD in Double Combustion Engineering from Suez Canal University, and is currently a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Power Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. He has an outstanding research record, which includes more than 35 scientific papers published in refereed scientific journals, covering areas such as flame specifications, combustion systems in gas turbines, biofuels, cooling technologies, and solar desalination. He also works as a scientific reviewer in a number of prestigious international journals, including Applied Thermal Engineering and Fuel Journal. At the academic level, he has extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in subjects such as thermodynamics, engine design, fuel technology, and refrigeration and air conditioning sciences, and has contributed significantly to the development of program regulations in the undergraduate and graduate departments.

Professor/ Ibrahim Abdel-Rahman Ibrahim El-Sayed

Eng : Engy Adel Halim

A marine engineer graduated from the Faculty of Engineering – Port Said University, specializing in ship engineering and marine engineering, with academic and practical experience in marine design, repair, simulation, and service center management. He seeks a supportive work environment that allows him to develop his technical and administrative skills, and contribute efficiently to work teams. She has worked as a teaching assistant and researcher at East Port Said Technological University since October 2023, where he taught specialized subjects such as marine engines, piping systems, and engineering drawing, while training students inside marine simulation laboratories and following up their training on nondestructive examination (NDT). Previously, she worked as an administrative officer at a maintenance center of APT in the UAE – Cairo branch, during which he acquired high skills in maintenance and safety management, coordinating the work of technicians, following up the condition of equipment accurately, and documenting technical operations professionally. He participated in a field training in China as part of a training program on the latest CNC machines, in addition to field exercises in Port Said Governorate and the ASRY Foundation, which enhanced his knowledge of repair and operation operations within shipyards.

Eng : Engy Adel Halim

Osama El-Morsy El-Desouky

He is a marine engineering expert with over 25 years of experience in tugboat operations, maritime education, and technical management within maritime authorities and ports. He holds a PhD in Ship Engineering from Port Said University, specializing in risk management during the refloating of oil tankers. He has held several leadership positions at the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone and has been a certified lecturer at both local and international universities. He possesses extensive expertise in maintenance and repair management, inspection of hulls and machinery, conducting internal audits according to ISM and ISO standards, and participating in technical committees at the national level. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in the fields of ship engineering, marine dynamics, and maritime incident handling, in addition to his active participation in international workshops and marine damage assessment committees.
